ED Interplay Tool
ED Interplay Tool (EDIT) is an Enterprise Design tool that makes an enterprise’s dependencies visible. It brings together a shared repository, EDGY modelling and AI-supported analysis in one browser-based application. With it, you can manage the relationships between all the elements that make up an enterprise.

Portfolio: see the whole picture
The Portfolio view turns the repository into charts and tables. You can check lifecycles, costs, ending contracts and technology risks at a glance. The application portfolio is one example.
Views: see the visualisations
In the Views view, all the diagrams are shown that are created based on the elements and their relations stored in the repository.
Explore: follow the connections
In the graph view, you can move freely between elements and their relationships. You can follow paths and see what a change would affect.
One shared repository
Every element is stored once, and all views refer to it. When an element changes, the change appears in every diagram. You can import and export data in CSV and JSON formats.
Modelling with EDGY
The modelling editor supports the EDGY language. Elements are connected in two ways: association (Link) and flow (Flow). New elements are saved to the repository, and existing ones can be reused.

AI support
AI creates a view from the elements you select in the repository. The modeller checks the draft before it is saved. With Ask AI, you can ask questions in plain language, and the answers are based on the facts and relationships in the repository.
Enterprise Design Wheel
The Enterprise Design Wheel is built into the tool. It helps you see the enterprise as a whole through the EDGY perspectives of identity, experience and architecture.
Working together
Change history shows who changed what and when, and changes can be undone. Roles decide who can model and who can only view. The repository can be backed up and restored, and the interface works in English and Finnish.
